i’ll follow too. i stopped using yahoo a while ago when i got fed up with spam plaguing my email. I never looked back.

Stop comparing where you’re at with where everyone else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find peace. It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately, it keeps you stuck. The reality is that there is no one correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for you. And that’s okay. Your journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad. It’s just different. Your life isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s because you aren’t like anyone else. You’re a person all your own with a unique set of goals, obstacles, dreams, and needs. So stop comparing, and start living. You may not have ended up where you intended to go. But trust, for once, that you have ended up where you needed to be. Trust that you are in the right place at the right time. Trust that your life is enough. Trust that you are enough.

hoiphalloi: hoiphalloi: Beware of people who say they believe the Bible literally.  If they do, they should be (among other things) killed if they do any gardening on a Saturday - and incidentally the Bible itself makes it clear that you can’t take it literally word for word, as there are four gospels and they don’t agree with each other.  You can only claim to take the Bible literally if you are either very stupid, very weird, or you just haven’t read it. Edit: I’m so glad to have the opportunity to reblog this again, thanks to bandit1a.  Don’t get me wrong - I have nothing against the Bible, I love it and have studied it in some depth - what I hate is people who use it (or rather the selected bits of it they happen to like) as a battering-ram to back up their prejudices.  But I also hate people ignorantly dismissing religions as superstition, because the only religion they have ever encountered is the evil sort.  Don’t get me started on Dawkins…

Help Ben and Matthew Phelps

Matthew is a marine and Ben is a civilian. They are a same sex couple and because DOMA they can’t be sponsored to move to Japan. I am under a similar predicament and so I ask you to help them by donating some financial aid via their wedding registry  .
