this movie was the film that sparked my interest in foreign cinema.
#Amelie will always be one of my favorite movies. It turned me on to everything french in the film; the language, #YannTiersen ‘s score, and #AudreyTautou ‘s big doe eyes. #c’estbonne
Anonymous asked: On sexuality being fluid: I discussed this with my bisexual friend recently. And I think it's a valid point to make. Much like other issues, there's real life and there's tumblr. He said that his reason for attraction varies from person to person (i.e. heteroromantic, homosexual, homoromantic, heterosexual) and it's expression is different. But people on tumblr have this overtly PC thinking that you cant say "i'm honestly attracted to X", you have to have an addendum like [1/2]
[2/2] ‘but if you’re not what I’m attracted to, I may change for you’. It has this weird uncertainty clause that makes sense to people who’s opinions and moods vary wildly day by day like teenagers, but to people who have a stable sense of who they are and what they like, you’re not going be changing your sexuality 50 years down the line. Bisexuality is a perfectly fine sexual orientation, I don’t know why you need to make a complicated label for yourself in a blatant way to look open-minded
My sexuality is flexible. I do not explain this or debate it. I don’t need to know about anyone else’s sexual preferences or gender identification until I am in bed and whatever they have down there I am either ok with or not. If I like you and you like me I don’t need to label us at all, I’m just gonna be happy. I don’t need all the labels just your name.
I used to be one of those people that thought you had to box in people and had issues with bisexuality because I thought it was just being selfish and inconsistent. Then I just got tired of boxing people and now life is better.
I had a lucky upgrade to first class on a flight from LAX to SFO. First time in my life flying first class. Next to me was a toddler with his own seat. I’m not normally an airplane talker, but I had questions."How’d you end up here?" I asked. He looked up from his iPad mini.…
Is this for real? Amusing story.
Fly from the US to another country in another continent in first class.
Prepackaged bento box from pan-asian grocery (Uwajimaya) deli.
They’re different every day and I usually know about 2/3rd of what I’m eating.
This one had a clam salad, deep fried shrimp, carrot and broccoli, tamago, pork, chicken, salmon, a couple of odd jelly things, and a few deep fried cakes (one potato, one shrimp and I’m not sure about the other two), kamoboko, some sort of root ball and a slice of lotus root.
